Cathleen M. Phelan, LCSW, IMH-E®, has 14 years of experience in infant and early childhood mental health. Cathleen has provided psychotherapy to young children and their caregivers focusing on attachment disruption, trauma and the role of the parent-child relationship in supporting healing and growth and has served as a clinical supervisor in community mental health.
Since 2015, Cathleen has provided Reflective Supervision/Consultation (RSC) to individuals and teams she supervises and has seen the value of this practice in supporting professional growth and personal development. Cathleen is endorsed as an Infant Mental Health Specialist (IMH-E®) and is in the process of obtaining IMH-Mentor endorsement. Cathleen is passionate about reflection as a tool to support mental health providers and the families they serve in growing their capacity to hold hard stories. Cathleen has lived in Tucson, AZ since 2010 and enjoys running, hiking, reading and traveling with her family.
